About the Role
Our client is looking for a technically adept and strategically minded Marketing Automation Specialist to enhance their digital marketing efforts, working entirely remotely with ties to their Nottingham, Nottinghamshire operations. This role is critical for designing, implementing, and managing automated marketing workflows and campaigns that nurture leads, personalize customer journeys, and drive conversions. You will be responsible for leveraging their marketing automation platform to its full potential, ensuring seamless integration with other marketing systems and providing data-driven insights to optimize performance. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical aptitude, a solid understanding of marketing principles, and a passion for creating efficient and effective automated processes in a remote setting. This is a key role for impacting customer engagement and driving sales efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain automated marketing workflows and campaigns within the designated marketing automation platform.
- Segment customer databases and develop targeted marketing campaigns based on customer behavior, demographics, and lifecycle stage.
- Create and optimize email templates, landing pages, and forms for automated campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of automated campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the marketing automation platform and collaborate on integrations with CRM and other systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing automation and customer journey optimization.
Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a Marketing Automation Specialist role or similar, with hands-on experience with platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or similar.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation principles, lead nurturing, email marketing, and CRM integration.
- Proficiency in building and optimizing complex automated workflows and campaigns.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email and landing page creation is beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
