About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and articulate Marketing Communications Specialist to join their team in Nottingham . This role is central to crafting and disseminating clear, compelling messages across various communication channels, supporting both internal and external marketing initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping brand perception, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring consistent messaging. Working closely with the marketing department, you'll contribute to a range of projects, from developing press releases to managing social media content and creating marketing collateral, ensuring a unified and impactful brand voice in the East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated marketing communication plans to support brand awareness and business objectives.
• Write, edit, and proofread a variety of marketing materials, including press releases, website copy, brochures, newsletters, and presentations.
• Manage and create engaging content for social media platforms, consistent with brand voice and strategy.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies on communication projects and campaigns.
• Monitor media coverage and social media conversations related to the brand, reporting on sentiment and key trends.
• Assist in organizing and promoting marketing events and webinars.

Requirements

• Proven experience in marketing communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and style.
• Experience in content creation for various platforms, including digital and print.
• Familiarity with social media management and email marketing tools.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related discipline.
