About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and insightful Marketing Data Analyst to join their team in Leeds . This role is fundamental to understanding campaign performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable data to inform strategic marketing decisions. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing marketing data from various sources to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and uncover opportunities for optimization. This is a key position for someone who enjoys diving deep into data and translating complex information into clear, strategic recommendations for the marketing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from multiple marketing channels (e.g., web analytics, CRM, social media, ad platforms).
- Develop dashboards and reports to track key marketing KPIs and provide regular performance insights to stakeholders.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in marketing data to understand campaign effectiveness and customer behaviour.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to measure the impact of marketing initiatives and optimize strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to define data requirements and build robust measurement frameworks.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a data analysis role, preferably within marketing.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and Python/R.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
- Familiarity with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and marketing automation tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to diverse audiences.
