At SoftwareOne, we help organizations maximize the value of technology. As cloud marketplaces continue to transform how customers purchase and manage software solutions, we are investing in a dedicated Marketplace function to accelerate growth across the Benelux and UK&I regions.

As our Marketplace Business Development Manager, you will work closely with Sales, Presales, Alliances, Vendor, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to drive marketplace adoption and revenue growth. You will become the regional subject matter expert for cloud marketplaces and play a key role in strengthening strategic relationships with hyperscalers and software vendors. In this highly visible position, you will help customers, partners, and internal teams navigate cloud marketplace opportunities across AWS Marketplace, Microsoft Azure Marketplace, and Google Cloud Marketplace. You will identify growth opportunities, support complex marketplace transactions, drive co-sell initiatives, and enable teams across the business to leverage marketplace programs effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the adoption and growth of AWS Marketplace, Microsoft Azure Marketplace, and Google Cloud Marketplace across the Benelux and UK&I regions.
• Partner with Sales, Presales, and Alliance teams to identify, develop, and accelerate marketplace opportunities.
• Build and strengthen relationships with hyperscalers, strategic software vendors, and internal stakeholders to expand marketplace business.
• Support complex marketplace transactions, including Private Offers, Marketplace Private Offers (MPOs), SaaS transactions, renewals, and commercial negotiations.
• Develop marketplace playbooks, training materials, and best practices to enable sales and technical teams.
• Monitor marketplace pipeline, bookings, governance, and operational processes to ensure scalable and consistent execution.

What we need to see from you

• Strong knowledge of cloud marketplace ecosystems, particularly AWS Marketplace and Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
• Understanding of Google Cloud Marketplace and cloud-based procurement models.
• Experience collaborating with software vendors, cloud providers, and alliance organizations.
• Knowledge of SaaS business models, software licensing, and cloud consumption programs.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships across commercial and technical teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and business development skills with a customer-centric mindset.
