A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Tower Hamlet is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team on a contact basis from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and make a real impact within a supportive and forward-thinking department.

The school is open to applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs who are committed to delivering engaging Maths lessons and helping students achieve their full potential.

The role:

• Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available depending on experience
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that support progress for all learners
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment with strong behaviour management
• Monitoring student progress and providing effective feedback to raise attainment
• Contributing to the wider school community and departmental enrichment opportunities

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
