Maths Teacher - SEN & Behaviour | September-December | Maidstone, Kent

Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can make a real difference to students who may require additional support?

We are currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a supportive setting from September until December, teaching small groups of students across KS3 and KS4.

This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher who is confident working with students with SEN and behavioural difficulties, and who enjoys creating a positive, structured and engaging learning environment.

🌟 About the Role

Teach Maths up to GCSE level Work with small groups of Year 10 and 11 students, typically 8-10 pupils Teach KS3 students in smaller groups of approximately 4-8 pupils Support students with SEN and behavioural difficulties Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons Mark students' work and provide appropriate feedback Create a calm, positive and structured learning environment Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student needs

📚 What We're Looking For

QTS desirable; Maths teaching experience in SEN environment considered. Strong experience teaching Maths to GCSE level Experience working with students with SEN and behavioural difficulties - essential Confident managing challenging behaviour Patient, adaptable and resilient approach Strong classroom management skills Passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential Reliable and committed to safeguarding and pupil well-being
