About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their secondary school in Reading . This role involves delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across various age and ability ranges, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the subject. You will be responsible for planning inspiring lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a positive learning environment where all students feel empowered to succeed. This is a key position within the faculty, contributing to the academic success of students and the school's overall educational mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic and differentiated mathematics lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence in Mathematics .
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Utilize a variety of teaching and learning strategies to effectively impart mathematical concepts.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives in Reading .

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment methods for Mathematics .
• Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
