Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term position or daily supply at a secondary school in Peterborough. As a Maths Teacher, you'll inspire students to develop problem-solving and numeracy skills. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues. The ideal Maths Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS, and early career teachers are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons.
- Support student understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Assess and monitor student progress in maths.
- Collaborate with other Maths Teachers and staff.
- Support school academic goals and exam preparation.
Requirements
- QTS or QTLS certification.
- PGCE or equivalent qualification.
- Passion for teaching maths.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Early career teachers are welcome to apply.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
