Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced mechanical systems and intricate components using state-of-the-art CAD software.
• Conduct thorough engineering analysis including FEA, thermal analysis, and tolerance studies.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams (e.g., electrical, software, controls) in a remote setting.
• Oversee and guide prototyping and testing phases, analyzing results to refine designs.
• Ensure designs meet all performance, reliability, and cost requirements for advanced applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical design, particularly with complex or advanced systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA ) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and think critically.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for a remote work environment, irrespective of your location in Oxfordshire .
