Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies for automotive applications using advanced CAD software .
- Perform detailed analysis, including FEA and CFD, to optimize designs for performance, durability, and manufacturability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure efficient production.
- Investigate and resolve mechanical design issues that arise during development and production.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the automotive industry .
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks or similar.
- Experience with analysis tools (FEA, CFD) for design validation.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to automotive components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
