Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies for automotive applications using advanced CAD software .
• Perform FEA simulations to analyze stress, strain, and thermal performance of components under various operating conditions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and production quality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including BOMs, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Participate in design reviews, presenting concepts and solutions to project teams and management.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably within the automotive sector .
• Expertise in using 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX) and simulation software.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to automotive components (e.g., injection molding, stamping).
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment in our Coventry facility.
