Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive components and sub-systems using advanced 3D CAD software.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations and simulations, including FEA and CFD, to optimize designs.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability.
- Develop and execute validation test plans, analyzing results and iterating on designs as needed.
- Contribute to technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Stay abreast of emerging automotive technologies and propose innovative design solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a focus on the automotive industry .
- Expertise in 3D CAD software such as CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, or Siemens NX.
- Familiarity with automotive design standards and regulations.
- Experience with engineering analysis tools for stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics.
- Strong understanding of automotive powertrain, chassis, or body systems.
