Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for marine and defence applications using advanced CAD software .
• Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration analysis , to ensure design integrity under extreme conditions.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate with project managers, naval architects, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs.
• Oversee prototype construction, testing, and validation, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant military and maritime standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a preference for experience in the marine or defence industries .
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and experience with FEA tools .
• Strong understanding of naval architecture principles and materials science.
• Ability to work effectively in a structured, project-driven environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
