Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for marine applications.
- Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software .

- Collaborate with naval architects, electrical engineers, and production teams.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant maritime standards and regulations.
- Support prototype development, testing, and commissioning of marine equipment.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with exposure to the marine or offshore industries.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and an understanding of PDM systems.
- Knowledge of materials suitable for corrosive marine environments and relevant manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with engineering simulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site in Plymouth .
