Mechanical Design Engineer - Remote Position

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new mechanical systems and components from concept through to production.
• Generate detailed 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and comprehensive technical specifications using advanced CAD software.
• Conduct rigorous design validation through simulation (FEA, CFD) and analysis to ensure performance, safety, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, electrical engineering, and manufacturing, via virtual communication platforms.
• Proactively identify opportunities for design improvement, cost reduction, and innovation.
• Manage project documentation and contribute to design reviews, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency with industry-leading CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) and FEA/CFD analysis tools .
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerances.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly in a remote setting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
