Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD software.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Conduct basic stress and performance analyses to support design decisions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
- Assist in prototype building, testing, and validation of new designs.
- Contribute to design reviews and provide technical input to enhance product performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with exposure to product development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).
- Basic understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team in West Yorkshire .
