Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine mechanical components and systems using advanced 3D CAD software , ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct engineering analysis, including stress calculations and preliminary thermal assessments, to support design validation.
• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate with research scientists, electrical engineers, and project managers to integrate mechanical designs into complex systems.
• Support the build and testing of prototypes, providing technical input and troubleshooting assistance.
• Contribute to design reviews and maintain thorough technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, with exposure to R&D or product development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and an understanding of simulation tools.
• Knowledge of materials science and various manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
