Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD software .
- Perform FEA simulations and calculations to ensure the structural integrity and performance of designs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to optimize designs for production and assembly.
- Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring design intent is maintained.
- Assist in the testing and validation of prototypes and production units.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer , with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools.
- Familiarity with various manufacturing processes and materials.
- Good understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
- Effective communication skills for both in-office and remote collaboration.
