Mechanical Engineer – Building Services
Kent £40,000 – £50,000
A growing building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Mechanical Engineer to join its Kent-based team. The role would suit an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and technically focused consultancy.
The successful candidate will work across a variety of building services projects, contributing to the design and delivery of mechanical systems from concept through to completion.
The Role
Designing mechanical building services systems across a range of projects Producing calculations, specifications and technical documentation Working closely with clients, architects and other engineering disciplines Supporting projects through all stages of design Attending project meetings and liaising with stakeholders Contributing to the continued development of the mechanical engineering teamAbout You
Experience working within building services / MEP consultancy Strong understanding of mechanical building services design Experience with HVAC, heating, ventilation and associated mechanical systems Able to produce technical calculations and design documentation Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team Ideally working towards or interested in achieving Chartered status Good communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
