About the Role

This role focuses on the design, analysis, and testing of advanced powertrain components and systems. You will be involved in the entire development cycle, from concept generation to validation, ensuring high performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components for internal combustion engines, electric motors, or hybrid powertrains.
• Utilize CAD software for component modeling and assembly design.
• Perform detailed engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration analysis .
• Collaborate with testing engineers to plan and execute validation programs.
• Troubleshoot issues identified during testing and implement design improvements.
• Document design specifications, test results, and performance reports.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on powertrain systems .
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA) and CAE simulation software.
• Understanding of engine mechanics, thermodynamics, and material properties.
• Experience with engine testing, dynamometers, and data acquisition systems is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
