Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for new product introductions.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical documentation.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations (e.g., FEA), and tolerance analysis to ensure design robustness.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities to verify design performance.
- Investigate and resolve design-related issues encountered during development and production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or a similar CAD package.
- Experience with basic engineering simulation tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
