Location: Harlow, Essex Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm, Friday 8:00am–3:30pm Overtime: Available and paid at premium rates

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Mechanical Engineer / Pump Service Engineer to join an established engineering business based in Harlow.

This is a hands-on role involving the service, maintenance, overhaul and repair of pumps and other mechanical and rotating equipment across customer sites within approximately a 50-mile radius.

The successful candidate will have strong experience working with pumps and motors and be confident dealing directly with customers on site.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, fans and other rotating machinery.

The role will involve both workshop and customer-site work, with regular travel throughout the local area.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair various types of pumps.

Carry out pump overhauls and repairs.

Strip, inspect and rebuild pumps and associated equipment.

Replace bearings and mechanical seals.

Remove and replace pumps and mechanical units.

Carry out motor overhaul and repair work
