Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - East London - Immediate Start

Location: East London Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a Facilities Management contract in East London, working Monday to Friday on a static commercial site. This Mechanical Engineer role suits someone looking for stable hours and ongoing work.

Mechanical Engineer — what you’ll be doing:

• Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across HVAC plant — AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and associated plant

• Basic plumbing and pipework repairs where required

• Monitoring and adjusting BMS-controlled equipment

• Completing service reports and maintenance logs accurately

• Supporting compliance and statutory testing requirements

As Mechanical Engineer, you’ll need:

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline

• Experience maintaining HVAC/mechanical plant in a commercial or FM setting

• F-Gas qualification desirable but not essential

• Good communication skills and a client-facing manner
