About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team in Wolverhampton . This hybrid role allows for a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, offering flexibility and team synergy. You will be involved in the design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems and components, contributing to projects that drive innovation in (mention industry, e.g., industrial automation, consumer goods). Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems using CAD software, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
- Conduct engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration analysis, to validate designs.
- Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to support product realization and resolve technical issues.
- Assist in the testing and validation of prototypes and production units.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for product design and engineering processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in mechanical design or engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor) and basic FEA understanding.
- Knowledge of material properties and common manufacturing techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
