Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter, Assembler, or Vehicle Mechanic looking for a stable, long-term contract with excellent overtime potential?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Fitter / Assembler to join a well-established engineering company near Tewkesbury. This is a workshop-based position offering immediate starts, long-term contract stability, and premium overtime rates.
Whether you come from a manufacturing, coachbuilding, or machinery assembly background, this role offers a clean, modern factory environment with a steady pipeline of work.
Pay & Benefits
* Self-Employed (LTD/Umbrella): £19.26 per hour (Standard Rate)
* Premium Overtime: £28.88 per hour for extra hours
* PAYE Options: Highly competitive rates available (discussed upon application)

Key Responsibilities
* Mechanical Assembly & Fitting: Building, fitting, and fabricating various industrial products.
* Technical Interpretation: Working accurately from engineering and technical drawings.
* Tool Operation: Using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely.
* Quality Control: Ensuring all assembled components meet high engineering standards.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience: Proven background in mechanical assembly, fitting, fabrication, or coachbuilding.
* Skills: Strong practical experience using standard hand and power tools.
* Adaptability: Backgrounds in vehicle mechanics, agricultural machinery, or heavy plant assembly are highly beneficial.
* Attributes: High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a reliable attitude.
