Role: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Warwickshire
Hours: Days only | Monday – Thursday (Fridays off!) + overtime available at enhanced rate
Salary: Up to £36,700
Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter or Assembly Fitter looking for your next opportunity? Join our clients’ dynamic production team, where you’ll play a key role in building high quality mechanical systems and helping meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble and install mechanical components in line with engineering specifications
* Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems to support production requirements
* Interpret and follow engineering drawings and technical instructions
* Use hand tools and power tools to carry out fitting and assembly work
* Work closely with electrical fitters and other production teams to complete builds
* Follow production schedules and contribute to meeting build targets
* Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety at all times
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, or similar hands on mechanical role
* Skilled in hydraulic fitting and general mechanical assembly
* Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Previous experience working with vehicles is highly desirable
* Relevant fitting qualifications or training in hydraulics/pneumatics (advantageous)
