Mechanical Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Mechanical Installation Engineer to join their growing team in Liverpool, Merseyside . This role is critical for the successful installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of complex mechanical systems and industrial equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all installations are performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards, working closely with project managers and clients to meet project deadlines. Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and commission mechanical systems and equipment on-site.
• Read and interpret complex mechanical drawings, blueprints, and P&IDs.
• Perform necessary adjustments and calibrations to ensure optimal system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that arise during installation or operation.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Installation Engineer or in a similar field service role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission.
• Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
