ES Recruit are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment in Blackburn.

This is a hands-on permanent position, responsible for keeping plant and equipment running efficiently, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and supporting ongoing improvements across the site.

The Role

• Liasing with managerial staff regarding new plant requirements

• Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance, including fault finding and breakdown responses

• Manage contractors safely and ensure compliance with company safe systems of work.

• Ensure all plant and measuring equipment is maintained and operating efficiently.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering qualification.

• Previous maintenance experience.

• Knowledge of pumps, valves, mixers and motors.

• Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

We will also consider Mechanical Fitters for this role if they have similar experience.
