Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Blackpool, Lancashire. Salary: £39,500.
Shift: Earlies and lates with occasional weekend work for part of the year.
We are looking for a hands‑on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to maintain a wide range of equipment. The role involves fault finding, preventive maintenance, breakdown response, and working as part of a skilled engineering team to keep complex machinery operating safely and reliably. Ideal candidate is practical, adaptable, confident working at height and in dynamic surroundings.
Responsibilities
- Fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
- Respond to breakdowns promptly.
- Collaborate with engineering team to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification or apprenticeship.
- Industrial experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Full rights to work in the UK.
- Strong mechanical fault‑finding skills.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
