Job Description
New opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join a busy engineering team in Wakefield, responsible for maintaining and improving automated production equipment through planned maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown repair activities.

Description
Duties will involve however not be limited to;
Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance
Record keeping of maintenance work and support managing the activities of outside contractors whilst on site.
Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment in accordance with the production hours
Assisting in the delivery of Supply Chain technical projects Profile
The successful candidate will;
Recognised Level 3 engineering, electrical, or mechanical qualification.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).
Experience fault finding within a an electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Desirable qualifications: IOSH or NEBOSH
Desirable knowledge: AS-i/PROFIBUS/PROFINET Job Offer
Please note, this is a shift based role.
Week 1 - Day shift 5:45am - 2pm
Week 2 - Night shift 9:45pm - 6am, and Sundays 6:30am to 1:30pm
Week 3 - Back shift 1:45pm to 10pm
Salary including shift allowance is £45k
22 days (pro rata) paid annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with length of service
