Mechanical Project Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects, from planning and design to execution and closeout.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these objectives.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure all project designs and deliverables meet technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues and conflicts as they arise.
• Communicate project status, updates, and challenges effectively to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar project management role within mechanical engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and project management methodologies.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting , balancing remote and on-site collaboration.
