Mechanical Project Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Develop detailed project plans, risk assessments, and resource allocation strategies.
• Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or project management within a mechanical context.
• Proven experience in managing engineering projects, from conception to closeout.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, P&IDs, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
