About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is responsible for managing mechanical engineering projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. You will play a key role in project planning, resource allocation, and technical oversight, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the execution of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery of objectives.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these targets.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, resolving design and engineering challenges.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress meetings as required.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Significant experience in project engineering or project management within a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, design processes, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and CAD tools.
