Mechanical Project Manager

A well-established, family-run Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their delivery team. The business delivers commercial and industrial building services projects across the Midlands, working on a mix of refurbishments and new-build schemes, with project values typically ranging from £500k to £5m. The Role: You will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical packages from pre-start through to final handover, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, and within budget. Key responsibilities include: Managing mechanical projects from pre-construction to completion Planning programmes, labour, and procurement Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Managing cost control, variations, and progress reporting Ensuring compliance with H&S, quality, and technical standards Attending client and site meetings and managing key stakeholders Supporting commissioning, snagging, and handover Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services Background delivering commercial and/or industrial projects Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Strong organisational and communication skills SMSTS / CSCS (preferred) Full UK driving licence What's on Offer: Permanent role with Midlands-based projects (regional work) Competitive salary depending on experience Company vehicle or car allowance Stable workload with a strong forward pipeline Supportive, family-run business with realistic workloads This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager seeking regional projects, long-term stability, and the chance to work with an established contractor delivering high-quality mechanical installations.41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
