HVAC Project Manager
Location: Knutsford (with UK-wide travel as required)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE + Healthcare + Vehicle/Car Allowance
Sector: Retail Fit-Out / Building Services / HVAC Projects
We're working with a growing building services and facilities management business that is looking to appoint an HVAC Project Manager to support a busy portfolio of projects for major retail and commercial clients across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that continues to grow through new contract wins and expansion. The successful candidate will become a key part of the mechanical projects team, helping deliver projects across a variety of sectors while providing specialist HVAC knowledge and support.
We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have strong experience across HVAC, ventilation, ductwork and extract systems and can confidently manage projects from initial survey and planning through to commissioning and handover.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple live projects and building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and operational teams.
The Role
Managing HVAC and mechanical building services projects from inception through to completion
Overseeing ventilation, ductwork, extract and air handling installations
Coordinating project programmes, subcontractors, suppliers and site activities
Carrying out site surveys and supporting project scoping activities
Managing project budgets, variations and commercial performance
Supporting commissioning, testing and handover activities
Acting as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers and project stakeholders
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards
Providing technical guidance and support on HVAC and ventilation-related matters
Supporting multiple live projects across retail and commercial environmentsWhat We're Looking For
Proven experience delivering HVAC and mechanical building services projects
Strong knowledge of ventilation, ductwork, extract and air handling systems
Experience managing projects from design through to installation and commissioning
Previous experience within retail fit-out, commercial construction, FM or building services environments
Good commercial awareness and project management experience
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of CDM Regulations and UK Health & Safety legislation
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Full UK Driving LicenceThe Person
Technical knowledge is important, but attitude is equally critical.
