About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly knowledgeable and engaging Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with a focus on Oncology to join their team, covering the Derby region. This is a remote field-based role, requiring you to build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and researchers in the oncology community. You will be responsible for disseminating complex scientific and medical information, gathering insights, and supporting clinical research activities. The ideal candidate will possess deep therapeutic area expertise and excellent communication skills, acting as a crucial scientific bridge between our client and the medical community.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to discuss scientific and clinical data related to our oncology portfolio.
- Provide scientific and medical education to internal and external stakeholders.
- Gather and report on medical insights, competitive intelligence, and emerging trends in the field of oncology .
- Support the planning and execution of investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and clinical trial activities.
- Act as a scientific expert and resource for our client's oncology products.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D.) in a life science or healthcare-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or in a related medical affairs role, preferably in oncology .
- Deep understanding of oncology therapeutics and clinical trial methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
