Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Pharmaceuticals

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and scientifically adept Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join their team, covering the Wolverhampton region. As an MSL, you will be a key scientific expert, building and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the medical and scientific community. Your role will involve disseminating complex scientific and clinical information, gathering insights on treatment landscapes, and supporting the company's medical affairs strategy. This is a field-based role requiring strong communication skills and a deep understanding of therapeutic areas within the pharmaceutical industry , fostering a collaborative environment with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to discuss scientific and clinical data related to our client's therapeutic areas.
• Provide accurate and balanced scientific information to support the appropriate use of pharmaceutical products .
• Gather insights on unmet medical needs, emerging research trends, and competitor activities from the field.
• Support the development and execution of the company's medical strategy, including advisory boards and scientific exchange programs.
• Present scientific data at medical conferences and symposia, acting as a scientific expert for the organization.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline.
• Significant experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a comparable medical affairs role.
• Deep therapeutic area expertise relevant to the company's product portfolio.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with scientific and medical experts.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory affairs, and ethical conduct.
