Medical Science Liaison (MSL)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and scientifically astute Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a key scientific and medical resource for healthcare professionals and researchers in the Milton Keynes area and surrounding regions. This role is pivotal in fostering strong peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and providing in-depth scientific and clinical support related to our client's portfolio. You will be at the forefront of disseminating cutting-edge scientific information, gathering valuable insights from the medical community, and contributing to the strategic development of therapeutic areas. This is an excellent remote-based opportunity for an individual passionate about science and committed to advancing medical knowledge within the Buckinghamshire region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive territory medical strategy in alignment with global and local medical affairs objectives.
• Engage with KOLs, investigators, and other healthcare professionals to discuss scientific and clinical data related to our client's products.
• Present complex scientific and clinical information accurately and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Gather and communicate insights from the field regarding disease state, treatment landscapes, and unmet medical needs.
• Support the planning and execution of advisory boards, symposia, and scientific exchange meetings.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with relevant industry regulations, codes of conduct, and company policies.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc) in a relevant life science or healthcare discipline.
• Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of a specific therapeutic area relevant to our client's products.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with scientific experts.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and plan travel meticulously for a remote role.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and ethical guidelines governing medical affairs activities in the UK .
