About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to cover the Brighton territory. This high-impact role involves being the key scientific and medical expert for our client's innovative therapeutic areas, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for disseminating complex scientific information, gathering insights from the field, and supporting evidence-based discussions regarding our client's products. This is an exceptional opportunity for a clinically experienced professional to build strong relationships within the medical community in the Brighton area and contribute significantly to medical strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in assigned therapeutic areas.
- Present complex scientific and clinical data to healthcare providers and at medical meetings.
- Gather and communicate clinical insights, unmet medical needs, and competitive intelligence from the field.
- Support the development and execution of local medical affairs strategies.
- Provide scientific and clinical expertise to internal teams, including marketing and R&D.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc) in a relevant life science discipline.
- Proven experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or in a similar medical affairs role.
- Deep understanding of a specific therapeutic area and relevant clinical data.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Strong scientific acumen and ability to critically evaluate medical literature.
