Medical Writer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and meticulous Medical Writer to join their growing medical affairs team in Oxford . This role is pivotal in creating clear, accurate, and compliant medical and scientific documentation for a range of audiences, including healthcare professionals, regulatory agencies, and patients. You will be responsible for authoring, editing, and reviewing various documents, such as clinical study reports, manuscripts, regulatory submission documents, and educational materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background and exceptional writing skills, contributing to the effective communication of complex medical information.

Key Responsibilities

• Author, edit, and review clinical study reports (CSRs), protocols, and investigator brochures.
• Develop content for regulatory submission documents, including dossiers and briefing documents.
• Create scientific manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
• Write and update patient-facing materials, safety information, and summaries for lay audiences.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to relevant guidelines (e.g., ICH, FDA, EMA) and company style guides.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, including physicians, scientists, and regulatory affairs professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, English, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry.
• Proven ability to write and edit complex scientific and medical documents with clarity and accuracy.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements for medical documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with document management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
