About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and precise Medical Writer to join their medical affairs department in Bristol . This role is fundamental in developing clear, accurate, and compliant medical and scientific documentation for various audiences. You will be responsible for creating a range of documents, including clinical study reports, regulatory submission documents, and scientific publications. This hybrid role offers a balanced approach, allowing for remote work combined with essential in-office collaboration and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and review various medical documents, such as clinical study reports (CSRs), protocols, Investigator's Brochures (IBs), and manuscripts.
• Prepare regulatory submission documents for health authorities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, statisticians, and regulatory experts, to gather information and ensure scientific accuracy.
• Ensure all written content meets required quality standards, regulatory requirements, and stylistic guidelines.
• Manage timelines and project schedules for document creation and completion.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of style guides and templates for medical writing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, medical, or related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Demonstrated ability to write and edit complex scientific and medical documents clearly and concisely.
• Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical development, clinical trials, and regulatory submission processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with document management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
