About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and articulate Medical Writer to join their communications team in Reading . In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and compliant medical and scientific documents for various audiences, including regulatory bodies, healthcare professionals, and patients. You will work closely with subject matter experts to translate complex data into accessible and informative content. This hybrid position allows for collaboration with colleagues in the office while providing the flexibility of remote work, ensuring high-quality medical communication strategies are executed effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and author a range of medical documents, including clinical study reports, regulatory submission documents, manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
• Ensure all written content is scientifically accurate, medically sound, and compliant with relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as medical directors, clinical scientists, and regulatory affairs, to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Edit and proofread documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guides.
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines.
• Stay updated on therapeutic areas and relevant scientific literature.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Life Science, Pharmacy, or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Medical Writer , preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry .
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of clinical research processes, drug development, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret complex scientific and clinical data effectively.
