Location: Falmer, Brighton Salary: £70,000-£80,000 per annum Sector: Water / MEICA / Infrastructure Employment Type: Permanent The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEICA Project Manager to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering major projects across the UK water sector. Based in Falmer, Brighton, you will play a key role in the delivery of Southern Water projects, taking responsibility for complex MEICA schemes from inception through to completion. The role will involve managing multidisciplinary mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation works across water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and in line with NEC contractual requirements. Projects can vary significantly in scope and complexity, including upgrades to MCCs, control and instrumentation systems, chemical dosing systems and water and wastewater process plant, with individual schemes typically ranging from approximately £200k to £10m. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Project Manager with strong MEICA and water-sector experience who is looking to join a business with a secured pipeline of AMP8 work.

The Role

As MEICA Project Manager, you will take ownership of project delivery, providing technical and operational leadership throughout the full project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing MEICA projects from inception through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Leading project delivery teams and coordinating design, construction, commercial and supply chain functions.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, to specification, on programme and within budget.
• Managing projects in accordance with NEC contract requirements.
• Proactively identifying and managing project risks and opportunities.
• Managing early warnings, compensation events and change control processes alongside the commercial team.
• Monitoring project budgets, forecasts, programme performance and financial targets.
• Managing subcontractors and key suppliers, including procurement, performance and resource requirements. xwwtmva
