Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional and practical support to individuals with mental health conditions.
- Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills to manage their conditions.
- Support clients in attending appointments, engaging in social activities, and accessing community resources.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes and care plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Respond to crisis situations in a calm and professional manner, following established protocols.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions, both in-person and remotely.
Requirements
- Experience in mental health support, social care, or a related field is essential.
- A genuine desire to support individuals with mental health challenges.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team.
- Understanding of mental health legislation, recovery principles, and safeguarding.
- Basic IT literacy for remote communication and record-keeping.
