Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support to clients experiencing various mental health conditions.
- Assist clients in developing and following personalized recovery and support plans.
- Help clients to manage daily living tasks, appointments, and medication adherence.
- Facilitate social inclusion and engagement in community activities and therapeutic programs.
- Offer emotional support and empathetic listening, promoting a sense of hope and empowerment.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and medical professionals.
Requirements
- Experience in a mental health setting or supporting individuals with complex needs is highly valued.
- Good understanding of common mental health conditions and recovery principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training, such as Mental Health First Aid .
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold confidentiality.
