We are looking for two compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents with complex mental health needs.
- Assist residents in their daily activities and promote independence.
- Implement personalised care plans and ensure the well-being of each resident.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Monitor and report on residents' progress and any changes in their condition.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements
- Must live within a radius of 15 miles from Felixstowe.
- Previous experience in working with adults aged 18-65 with mental health needs (particularly schizophrenia) is essential and is a deal braker.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Proficiency in active listening and the ability to read body language.
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable.
