About the Role
Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join their team in Plymouth . This role offers a hybrid working model, enabling you to provide essential support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, combining in-person visits with remote administrative and follow-up tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with mental health conditions, both in the community and remotely.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, medication adherence, and personal care as needed.
- Develop and implement recovery-focused support plans in collaboration with clients and the wider support network.
- Offer emotional support, active listening, and encouragement.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other agencies to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of interventions and client progress.
Requirements
- Experience in a mental health support role or related field.
- Understanding of mental health conditions, recovery principles, and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for communication, record-keeping, and remote client engagement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a hybrid schedule effectively.
