About the Role

Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to provide crucial assistance to individuals experiencing mental health challenges in the Oxford area. Key Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support to clients with a range of mental health conditions.
• Assist clients in developing and implementing personalised recovery plans.
• Encourage clients to engage in social, therapeutic, and recreational activities.
• Monitor clients' well-being and behaviour, reporting any changes or concerns to the clinical team.
• Support clients in managing daily living tasks and developing essential life skills.
• Liaise with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in mental health support or a related field is highly valued.
• A compassionate, patient, and non-judgmental approach.
• Good understanding of mental health conditions and recovery principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid model.
