MEP Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Project Manager to lead complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects. This role is vital for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of MEP systems within major construction developments. You will manage all aspects of MEP projects, from design coordination and procurement to installation and commissioning, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) project activities from conception to completion.
• Oversee MEP design development, ensuring compliance with project specifications and building codes.
• Manage MEP subcontractors, including procurement, contract administration, and performance monitoring.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for MEP works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to design intent.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve MEP-related issues and ensure project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing MEP projects within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex MEP systems on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning processes.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
