Salary: £27,000 - 32,000, depending on experience, plus benefits

We're looking for a highly analytical, commercially minded and proactive Merchandising Assistant to join our growing team. Reporting to our Merchandising Manager, this is a key role within the business, supporting the planning, forecasting and trading of product categories to deliver sales, profit and stock targets.
You'll play an important role in helping the business understand and improve product performance by providing accurate reporting, commercial insights and actionable recommendations. Working closely with our Buying, E-Commerce, and Operations teams, you'll help ensure the right products are available at the right time, while supporting effective stock management and profitable growth.

What you'll do:

• Support our Merchandiser in planning, forecasting and trading product categories to achieve sales, profit and stock targets.
• Produce and analyse weekly trading reports, identifying risks and opportunities and making recommendations to maximise sales and profitability.
• Monitor sales performance, stock levels and intake, reforecasting demand and optimising stock availability throughout the season.
• Manage purchase orders, deliveries and supplier critical paths, ensuring products are delivered on time and resolving any supply chain issues.
• Work closely with suppliers, logistics partners and internal teams to monitor product flow and maintain stock availability.
• Analyse category performance, sell-through rates and stock holdings to support range planning, blanket orders and strategic stock decisions. xwwtmva
